For Earth Day, two brands joined forces to create an upcycling capsule, turning dead stock jackets into bags and sculpture installations. We developed the capsule's identity to tell the story behind each new piece.

TO TELL A STORY OF TRANSFORMATION

For this project, we imagined that the original jackets came to life and became wild sea creatures. The brand Furzai commissioned Mia Soifer for the upcycling capsule and sculptures, and we wanted to highlight the design process and transformation.

To achieve this, we created a fanzine as part of the hang tag, featuring images from the process, design principles in upcycling, and the specific ways each part of the jackets was transformed into a bag.

esto,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, qué más podría ser?

The poster inside the fanzine posed the central question of the project: “What else could this be?”
It serves as an invitation to view existing materials in the world as opportunities to create something new, promoting not only creativity and imagination but also environmental consciousness.
