COMPOSTAME means "COMPOST ME." It started as a graduation thesis project and became the first company in Argentina to offer compostable packaging for multiple industries like food, cosmetics, and clothing.

the design challenge

TO BUILD A BRAND
ABLE TO INTERACT WITH MANY OTHER BRANDS

As a packaging supplier for many different brands, we embraced the no-brand concept: we chose a minimalist direction with black, sans-serif typography, straight lines, grids, and a direct yet friendly brand voice.
We ensured that any brand, regardless of its own identity, could coexist with the COMPOSTAME call to action printed on every pack.
Inspired by the brand's core belief that design needs to play a significant role in the industry's transition to sustainability, we also aimed to convey the ideas of versatility and standardization, modular solutions, and an empathetic, human attitude towards each particular case.
We incorporated analog photography to place this issue in the everyday user’s scene: the city. We decided to create a very urban brand, distinct from the typical green aesthetics often associated with sustainable projects.

ME HAGO TIERRA EN 180 DÍAS COMPOSTAME®
“I’ll turn into soil in 180 days, Compost Me” is the brand’s main line.
It’s an informative mark on every pack, but it also serves as a call to action. It speaks directly to the end users, inviting them to get involved in the solution.
